BHU medical college is established in the year 1960 founded by Professor K.N.Uduppa. BHU medical college has different departments where nine departments work as modern medicine and one following Indian medicine. BHU MBBS got its affiliation in 1963 from medical council of India. Banaras Hindu University conducts exams for getting admission in MBBS.

For entrance in MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses, candidates require 50% marks in higher secondary. For B. Pharmacy, minimum 60% marks are required. Exam will be conducted in June 2017.

Full Description of All Medical Courses: Banaras Hindu University offers many courses for graduate and post graduate medical students.
Here is the list of seats available in different courses. MBBS course has 84(seats) student capacity along with BAMS course has 78 seats and BDS course has 50 seats.For post graduate MD/MS number of seats are 134 in approx 22 subjects. 10 seats are available for MSc. students. Candidates can in role of PhD for all subjects.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must have cleared intermediate (10+2) with min of 50% marks, in case of SC/ST min marks are 40% in physics, chemistry, biology and English taken together.

Age of the applicant must neither be less than 17 years nor more than 25 years on 31 December of the year.
