Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College Bangalore
Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College has been established in the year 1981 by Ananda Social Education Trust. College has developed the symbolic expression of compassion and services for practicing modern medicines. There objective is to provide primary, secondary and territory medical services to patients by following better approaches.

This lavishing green campus is running over 25 acres of land while capturing world class departmental facilities in radiography, physiotherapy and medical.

On May 1987, college premises were moved to Kadugondanahalli location. An imposed and elegant area with beautiful architecture design attracts many visitors at that place.
They keep entire focus on empowering personal growth of employee and promote their social, economical and physical well being. They provide knowledge base, practical skill and empathetic attitude based upon modern practices. The annual intake in MBBS courses is 100 which is recognized by Medical Council of India and affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Science.
The course duration is of 4 years out of which one year of internship is compulsory. Based on the new regulation of MCI the MBBS has been divided into three phases. Clearance of first will make the candidates to move to next phase and accordingly their skills at each level will get tested. University offer canteen, library, computer lab, hostel, transport, sports and cultural facilities within its campus.

There are certain compulsory guidelines needed to be considered, offered by Rajeev Gandhi University which include-
A language course in Kannada is compulsory to carry out by every student.
Based on rules of university, candidates have to join NCC or NSS.

Attending course such as Medical ethics, Indian constitution, computer basics, and behavioral science and orientation programs is important for everyone.
Candidates seeking admission in this college must have qualified their 12th exams with subjects of Physics, chemistry and biology as elective with English as one of the subject. 50% of aggregate marks are compulsory to apply for competitive entrance exam going to consider for the admission in MBBS program. 40% of seats are reserved for Karnataka students, whereas 15% are reserved for NRI and management candidates and 5% for Institutional Preferences Quota.
