Medical Entrance Exam 2016
Medical entrance exams 2016 AIPMT stands for ALL INDIA PRE MEDICAL TEST. It offers entrance exam for medical students who aspire to pursue MBBS, BD, MS or MD from any reputable medical college in India. It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE. Exam of this entrance test is proposed to be held in the month of May, 2016.

Though this exam will cover entire medical entrance procedure, AIIMS New Delhi and PGI for Medical Education and Research will be exempted from it. These two bodies were established by separate laws hence need different proceedings. Government of India announced commencement of this test for both Undergraduates and Post Graduates. It will be classified into AIPMT UG and AIPMT PG.

DATE OF EXAMINATION- The date for National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2016 is not announced yet. This year the exam was conducted on Saturday, 25 July, 2016.
SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAMINATION: The Question Papers for the examination shall be based on a common syllabus notified by the Medical council of India.
Syllabus of AIPMT conforms to the guidelines based on MCI regulations Graduate Medical Education. It will comprise of multiple choice questions as well as carry negative marking also. Since after its announcement NEET has faced much criticism from several states on the basis of difference in syllabus. Nevertheless it stood out with lots of benefits in its credit.
